SIA ACS fees: application, annual registration and assessment

Three payments: the SIA's once on application, the SIA's every year, and the assessing body's for each assessment.
The application fee
By licensable staff
Up to 10 licensable staff £400; 11 to 25 £800; 26 to 250 £1,600; over 250 £2,400.

The annual registration fee
£25 per licensable individual
From 1 June 2026 the amount paid per licensable individual deployed rose from £15 to £25, the first rise in the annual registration fee.

The assessment
Every year
An approved contractor must be assessed by one of the SIA's approved assessing bodies every year to stay approved.

Capped day rates
British Assessment Bureau and NSI cap a full in-person day at £1,100; SSAIB at £1,125. Half days run £500 to £675 depending on the body and whether it is remote.
